Hey! I’m Kelsey, a twenty-something girl living in Niagara with my wonderful husband, Mike. To sum me up in one sentence, I’m a yoga-doing, craft-making, gun-shooting, world-travelling English teacher that loves living life to the fullest.
I started this blog as a way to fearlessly pursue my passions, or as I call it, My Bliss List. To me, life is all about “following your bliss”. Life isn’t always filled with grand adventures, but there are always surprising ways to find joy in the ordinary.
Some fun facts about me:
I’m up at the crack of dawn and I’m addicted to buying every variety of tea I can get my hands on. I’m a collector of essential oils and I love experimenting with all the different ways of using them. On a typical day you can find me either in the kitchen experimenting with recipes or practicing yoga and writing in my yoga room. I share custody with my parents of a feisty and stubborn miniature schnauzer named Charlie. Exploring is one of my favourite ways to pass the time, whether it is halfway around the world or right in my own neighbourhood. I’ve been known to shoot a shotgun, but only at clay disks, I promise! I am deathly afraid of octopus (the animal, not the food), though I am trying to embrace the fear. I’m expecting my acceptance letter to the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to arrive by Owl Post any day now. Most importantly, I am fortunate enough to have some of the best family and friends around that love and support me through the good and bad.
