What’s The Bliss List?

Hey guys! Thanks so much for stopping by my little corner of the world. I’m excited you’re here. You might be wondering what exactly is The Bliss List? Allow me to explain.

About one year ago I started a new job as a Student Advisor for International students. Part of my job is helping these students figure out what they are passionate about and cultivating a plan to get there. In doing so, the questions I’d ask my students would end up circling my mind when I went home each day: What would you do if you could do anything you wanted? What are you passionate about? What do you often think about when your mind wanders? It wasn’t long before I realized that my mind wandered to all the things that brought “bliss” to my life: writing, creating recipes, travelling, being creative and enjoying life with the people who mean the most to me. And so, The Bliss List was born.
Don’t get me wrong – I love my job. I love that I am helping people set their lives on a course for fulfillment and giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals. But I never realized that by helping others to think about their passions, I would re-ignite the passions in my life.

I started the Bliss List because I wanted to create a space of positivity and excitement. I wanted to stop thinking about “one day” and start making that day happen. I love to create recipes and DIY projects. I love travelling abroad and locally. And I love writing. But most of all, I love to share all of that with others who are looking for a little bliss in their lives. Maybe your Bliss List will include some similar things as mine does, or maybe it will be wildly different. But whatever is on your Bliss List, I hope you can find some encouragement to go after it here.
